The Work

My ultimate goal in both writing and photography is telling an authentic story. I want my audience to be transported into the position of the subject—whether that's on the busy streets of Washington D.C. or in the serenity of rural West Virginia.

I value meaningful connections with my partners and the physical spaces in which I make work. The best stories are told through honest, vulnerable communication and that can only be achieved through mutual trust and a dedication to working with the participant.

Let's link up if you'd like to discuss how I can help you tell your story.

My Story

I grew up in a small town on the shores of Lake Michigan. While I would later move away to cities on the east coast, my upbringing left me with a deep appreciation for the natural world.

While in school at Emerson College, I committed to editorial positions at The Berkeley Beacon, the student newspaper. With the Beacon, I developed an intense passion for telling meaningful stories and holding those in power accountable for their actions.

In my six years out of school, I have written for the Associated Press, Law360, and Bloomberg Law. I've also provided photography services for multiple clients with corporate headshots, intimate portraits, and athletic content.
